Simonsen Vogt Wiig assists Hilti AG in the acquisition of Øglænd System

Hilti AG, a global supplier to the construction industry, announced June 6 the acquisition of the Øglænd System Group from the Nordic PE mid-market firm Segulah and other minority shareholders.

The international law firm JonesDay and Simonsen Vogt Wiig assisted Hilti AG in the transaction. The team from Simonsen Vogt Wiig has been led by Christoffer Bjerknes, and the core team has otherwise consisted of Espen Tøndel, Christian Ditlev-Simonsen, Amund Fougner Bugge and Silje Wollan Einum.

Øglænd System Group develops and manufactures support products, cable trays and cable ladders used in the oil & gas, infrastructure, ship building, wind power, and water treatment industries. The group has a worldwide business with 14 subsidiaries and over 400 employees. The group posted sales of NOK1.4bn (€147m) in 2016.
