AD HOC ARBITRATION: Time to part ways with an old friend?

We are very pleased to invite you to a panel discussion where we will explore the use of ad hoc arbitration in Norway, and discuss if institutional arbitration should be used more frequently.

  • Date Wednesday 17. April 2024
  • Time 17:00 – 21:00
  • Location Our new offices at Filipstad Brygge 1, Oslo

Some of the issues we will debate are:

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of ad hoc and institutional arbitration?
  • Why is ad hoc arbitration still the most common choice in Norway?
  • Is ad hoc arbitration still preferred by some in the other Nordic countries?
  • What can and should be done to increase the use of the OCC?
  • Should there be more Nordic collaboration?
  • Is NOMA a step in the right direction or the final stop?

We are fortunate to have panelists from all the major institutions, who will offer valuable insight. We also encourage contributions from the participants.

The seminar will be followed by a networking reception from 19:00-21:00 with food and drinks in our new offices at Filipstad Brygge 1.

We look forward to your participation and contribution.
