Anne Buan has extensive experience in public procurement and contract law.
Anne has extensive experience with Government procurement projects on both buy and sell side in the IT and technology sector and other sectors such as health. She advise clients on complex technology and other projects, including large IT development projects and digital transformation programmes involving cloud computing and Big Data.
She has been advising the Norwegian government in some of the largest public procurement projects in Norway. The combination of experience within IT and technology and procurement law makes her able to bring a real understanding of the factors which make a successful procurement.
As well as expertise in negotiation and strategical advise, her practice involves advising suppliers who are bidding for or delivering Norwegian government contracts, including advise on their bidding strategy from pre-market engagement to contract award and to challenge procurement processes.
Anne is one of the authors of the leading commentary on the Norwegian public procurement law published by Gyldendal.
