Eivind H. Midtgård is part of SVW’s Dispute Resolution department and assists clients across a broad range of legal practice areas.
Eivind holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Oslo. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, Centre for European Law, where he served as an editor of the journal EuroRett and wrote an extensive master’s thesis on the legal protection of the climate in the petroleum sector.
Eivind was awarded the prize for Best Oralist at the Nordic Moot Court Competition on Human Rights 2025, where he pleaded before judges from the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and the Nordic Supreme Courts. He has also won ELSA’s regional moot court competition 2025.
