Sunniva Kinsella has expertise with financial transactions, shipping and renewables.

Sunniva has special expertise within banking and finance and extensive experience with financial and other project based structures within shipping/offshore, renewables and corporate finance, including asset and project financing, restructuring, bonds and power purchase transactions. She also has special expertise on financial regulation, with a focus on EU/EEA legislation.

She provides assistance to both national and international parties and her work covers all steps of the projects, including structural and legal advice, negotiation of documentation, facilitation and assistance for utilisation of funds and execution of other transactions, re-negotiations, restructuring and enforcement.

Sunniva has received several national and international recognitions for her work. In 2022, she was ranked as «Up and Coming» by Chambers and Partners Global and Chambers and Partners Europe and «Rising star» by Legal500, all within banking and finance. In 2021, she was named the winner in Norway by Euromoney Legal Group in the IFLR Rising Stars Awards Europe 2020, and in 2018 she was ranked as «up and coming» and one of the «leaders of tomorrow» in Kapital’s selection of Norway’s most powerful women.
