With only one year to GDPR becomes applicable, we will discuss the crucial steps, including mapping and gap analysis, that organisations need to take to ensure compliance.

DPO as a Service
Simonsen Vogt Wiig launches DPO as a Service for organisations who wish to outsource work related to data protection compliance.

Update on data protection law

  • Important new GDPR guidance from Art 29 Working Party: data protection impact assessments, data portability, data protection officers and lead supervisory authority
  • Proposal for a new ePrivacy Regulation and new cookie rules
  • New licence and notification requirements applicable from 1 January
