The Lawyer European Awards 2020 – Simonsen Vogt Wiig is shortlisted for “Most innovative technology initiative”

We are immensely proud to see that our efforts are recognized with this nomination and are excited to follow the award ceremony on the 1st of December. Our team comprised of lawyers Thom Erik Borgen and Kasper Formo Asplin, as well as Chief Digital Officer Peter van Dam.

When the Covid-19 crisis hit Norway in March, Simonsen Vogt Wiig created The Covid-19 Stimulus Package Guidance App in a few days, guiding legal entities operating in Norway through economic government measures implemented nationally. The App was continuously updated until the summer, when the dust settled and the market got familiar with the government measures. Creating new solutions to improve efficiency, enhance provision of client services and making legal innovation is part of Simonsen Vogt Wiig’s strategy.
