Public Sector
The organisation of the public sector has challenges that differ from the public sector. Examples are the rules on State Aid, Public Procurement and Public Administrative Law which result in a range of limitations on what will be accepted in law and in practice. We have lawyers who see the whole picture and who can find the best solutions.
Several of our lawyers have working experience from the Competition Authorities, EU Commission, the Office of the Attorney General and from the Ministries. By being placed centrally in several of the largest public projects, we have acquired a thorough understanding of the political processes that govern this sector.
We assist in a broad range of issues, inter alia organisational issues, conflicts of interests, public procurement and reorganisations. For example, our employment law group has assisted in the handling of conflicts in public departments and has performed several large investigations where employees have claimed to be bullied, harassed or have experienced retaliation.
Our particular experience from the public sector also makes us a very efficient advisor for private companies in their relationship with the public sector.
