Håkon Knudsen has extensive experience in real estate law, privacy law and law of damages.
Håkon has practiced as a business lawyer since 2003. He has previously run his own law firm and has worked for The Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
He is specialized in the field of privacy law, assisting companies with compliance and risk management regarding implementation and maintenance of duties under the General Data Protection Act (GDPR). Håkon provides practical and hands-on advice regarding data protection, and provides assistance in the capacity as Data Protection Officer for companies. He heads the Technology Law team in Trondheim, and participates in the group of commercialization of technology in The Mid-Norway Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Håkon has extensive experience in dispute resolution and has vast procedural experience from both civil law and criminal law. He also functions as a permanent trustee for probate cases in Trøndelag District Court.
He is member of the Board of directors in several companies.
Håkon is the Honorary Consul in Trondheim for The People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
