Knud Jacob Knudsen specialises in international arbitration, dispute resolution and construction law.
Knud has extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution including construction projects, post-M&A disputes, company law disputes and negligence claims against boards of directors. He has argued a large number of court cases, and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Norway.
Knud has also acted as counsel in several national and international arbitration cases, and has argued cases under ICC, NOMA, UNCITRAL and SCC rules. He also sits as arbitrator in both national and international arbitration cases.
He has in-depth knowledge of the Norwegian standard construction contracts, fabrication contracts and shipbuilding contracts. In addition, Knud has considerable experience with partnering contracts, target price contracts and other forms of joint ventures.
Knud emphasizes being available to his clients and following up all his cases closely. He provides clear and balanced advice, which is legally well founded and takes into account the client’s commercial interests.
