Marcus holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Oslo, where he specialized in data protection and wrote his thesis on GDPR and personnel security in the energy sector. He also took elective courses expropriation law and public procurement.

Today, he works in an interdisciplinary manner with a primary focus on energy law, including land acquisition, regulatory issues, and related matters.
