Nils Håkon has experience as a business lawyer since 2000. He has a total of 14 years of experience as a police officer and police investigator in both tactical and technical investigations, as well as almost 2 years as a deputy judge.

Nils Håkon has specialized expertise in bankruptcy/insolvency law, review, value added tax law and inheritance. Since 2002 he has been a permanent trustee in bankruptcy for the Sør-Trøndelag District Court. Processing of the bankruptcy estate often involves complex labor law, mortgage law, corporate law, contract law, value added tax law and bankruptcy law issues.

Nils Håkon is also part of Simonsen Vogt Wiig’s teams for compliance and investigation and taxation and fees, and in this connection has been involved in conducting several factual investigations/inquiries and assisted private parts and public institutions with a number of value added tax issues.

He has extensive experience in inheritance and estate administration as a trustee for the courts as well as assistance to private individuals.

Nils Håkon’s practice also includes real estate transactions and corporate law advice. Furthermore, he is widely experienced in probate law, both as a retained counsel for private probate and as a court appointed probate administrator.
