Hole advises public and private undertakings in all employment issues and legal processes, including restructuring processes; workforce reductions, restructuring and transfer of undertakings, as well as administrative law, including issues on healthcare.
Hole has extensive experience in administrative law, assisting both public entities and private businesses affected governmental authority. He has particular expertise in the Public Access to Information Act and has helped numerous public entities handle requests for access to information. Hole worked for approximately 7 years at the Municipal Attorney’s Office in Oslo, and subsequently closely with many other public authorities and publicly affiliated entities. Through this, he has gained experience with issues related to organization, management, and collaborative solutions in the public sector, and the intersection of law and politics.
Hole also has extensive and diverse experience in assisting public and private employers with all kinds of employment law issues, including downsizing, restructuring, and transfer of undertakings. He works closely with several HR departments, focusing on brief, tailored, and practical advice. Hole has particular experience providing employment law assistance to government entities and publicly affiliated entities.
Hole has in-depth knowledge of health law and substantial industry experience in the healthcare sector, including regular weekly office days at large hospitals since the implementation of the Hospital Reform in 2002 to the present day.
Hole was the head of the Norwegian Bar Association’s Legislative Committee for Welfare Law from 2016 to 2023 and is an examiner and master’s thesis supervisor in employment law, administrative law, and welfare law at the University of Bergen.
Hole is co-author of the book «Sexual Harassment in the Workplace”.
