Renewable energy

Simonsen Vogt Wiig has a considerable practice within new renewable energy such as projects related to wind, solar power, hydro power, grid/cables, biomass, CCS and LNG, and related transactions. We assist our clients with all phases, including applications for licences, development agreements, structuring, PPAs, negotiation for and against investors and financing.

Our practice also includes foreign projects and projects with foreign parties. We additionally have excessive experience with traditional hydropower, with a particular focus on ownership and regulatory matters.

Grid

Simonsen Vogt Wiig also assists a number of grid companies with grid regulation, grid connection, income caps and various matters relating to the next generation’s electricity grid (AMS, smart grid and retail market).
