Norwegian Ministry of Justice & Public Security adopts regulations pertaining to the private law part of PSD2

In our previous newsletter on the implementation of the public law parts of PSD2 on 1 April this year, we mentioned that the Norwegian Ministry of Justice & Public Security intended to adopt regulations pertaining to the private law part of PSD2. Such regulations have now been adopted.

The new regulations include definitions of payment initiation services, account information services, payment initiation service provider (PISP), account information service provider (AISP) and payment account.

The regulations also include provisions on the relationship between the PISPs and the AISPs, on the one hand, and its customers, on the other.
