Simonsen Vogt Wiig strengthens its focus on insolvency and restructuring

We are pleased to announce that, as of January 1, 2024, Frank C. Aase will become a new partner in Simonsen Vogt Wiig's insolvency and restructuring team in Oslo.

Frank C. Aase has more than 16 years of experience assisting companies facing financial challenges, providing support to banking and company clients. He is regularly appointed as a trustee in bankruptcy and serves as the leader of the Norwegian Bar Association’s legal committee for bankruptcy, composition, security rights, enforcement, and debt collection. Frank comes from Brækhus Advokatfirma, where he previously served as managing partner.

Frank has extensive experience in financial restructuring, securing credit arrangement and risk management for exposed/defaulted engagements. He has previously worked as an in-house lawyer at one of the largest banks in the Nordic region. He also assists companies and creditors with restructuring/reconstruction, capital injection, and other insolvency-related issues. Frank is also a specialist in board liability cases and has given several lectures on the subject to other lawyers.
