He regularly advises private- and public enterprises, national- and international interest organizations, Norwegian central- and regional administrations and the authorities of foreign countries on contract law, petroleum- and energy law, administrative law and public international law.
Bjørn-Erik has particular experience in guiding newly established players on the Norwegian continental shelf, legal aspects arising out of developing, financing and operating complex cross-border projects such as unitization and subsea pipelines, and associated transactions.
He also has significant experience in developing and enforcing legislation and related petroleum legal frameworks and bilateral intergovernmental agreements, as well as advising on legal issues at the intersection between coastal- and flag state regimes.
Bjørn-Erik Leerberg is unique, not only in that he provides you with the best solution but also teaches you how to achieve the better solutions to the problems that have been presented. Always in a good mood and always available to help. His capacity for learning in new cases is amazing. The best professional I have worked with.
