Kristine Farestvedt Nesse assists national and international clients in public procurement, construction law and general contract law.
Kristine is associated with the company’s EU and public sector department. She primarily works with procurement and contracts within defense and security, construction, and the healthcare sector.
Kristine assists both public clients and suppliers. She assists suppliers in preparing bids, bid negotiations, transparency, and complaint processes – both complaints to the contracting authority and to the Complaints Board for Public Procurement (KOFA) – including dispute resolution in court. She also assists public clients throughout the procurement process, including drafting tender documents, evaluation, rejection, awarding, transparency management, and complaint processes.
Kristine has a background from the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (lieutenant) and the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (senior advisor) where she has first-hand experience of carrying out procurements and negotiating defense contracts. Additionally, Kristine has experience from the Air Force (captain) where she gained experience as a project manager and has developed specific knowledge of military aviation.
Kristine regularly delivers lectures and writes articles on current topics within public procurement and contract law.
