Steffen Myrseth is associated with our real estate team in Oslo and works with commercial real estate matters, in particular regulatory, contract law and court matters.
Steffen has experience from the Ministry of Local Government and Modernization (2015-2017), where he worked with real estate legislation, including the Planning and Building Act, the Cadastre Act, the Land Registration Act, the Property Unit Ownership Act, the Housing Association Act, the Tenancy Act, etc. In the legislative work with a new ownership section law, Steffen had a central role in the Ministry’s work. Steffen also worked in the real estate department of another major law firm (2017-2020), before taking up his position with Simonsen Vogt Wiig in 2020.
With background from both the public and private sector, he possesses valuable and broad expertise when resolving real estate law matters. Steffen assists our clients with real estate law issues in commercial real estate transactions and has assisted in around a hundred such transactions over the past three years. Steffen is a steady supporter and advisor to our clients in connection with real estate development projects, regulatory processes, construction cases, organization of ownership and sectioning of property projects, etc.
Steffen also acts as legal counsel in courtdisputes related to real estate law. Steffen often writes articles, participates in professional forums and gatherings related to commercial real estate or building law.
