Part one, “Recommendations on measures that supplement transfer tools to ensure compliance with the EU level of protection of personal data”, explains 6 practical steps companies need to go through to verify compliance with the GDPR in light of the Schrems II decision. Part two, “Recommendations on the European Essential Guarantees for surveillance measures”, provides guidance on how to assess third country national security and law enforcement surveillance measures.
